Big Brother 2018: Lewis Flanagan removed from Big Brother house over ‘Auschwitz comment’

Big Brother decided to go ahead with the live eviction on Friday night, after the Channel 5 show released a statement about Lewis’ early exit.

The reasoning behind the 27-year-old’s removal was due to ‘unacceptable language,’ a spokesperson revealed to, however the point was not expanded upon.

It has now emerged the language was used in a conversation with fellow housemate Cameron Cole, 19, while the two were discing their experience in the show.

Lewis reportedly made reference to Autchwitz when in the dialogue, which was not broadcast by Channel 5 during Friday night’s live show.

Emotional Big Brother housemates burst into tears as they’re told Lewis F has been kicked out over ‘Auschwitz’ comment

On Friday, Lewis was ejected from the Elstree compound after using ‘inappropriate language’, although bosses insisted the incident would never make it to air.

In a preview for Sunday night’s episode, the remaining housemates were seated in the dining area as Big Brother made the announcement.

‘This is Big Brother. Housemates Lewis has been removed from the Big Brother house and will not be returning,’ the voice said.

Cameron immediately began to cry as the housemates struggled with the news and were overwhelmed with shock.

‘Shortly, Big Brother will place his suitcases in the storeroom. Will one housemate ensure that all of Lewis stuff are packed and placed in the storeroom,’ Big Brother continued.

Big Brother: Lewis removed from the house after ‘making a comment about Auschwitz’ that WON’T be aired’ as he ‘

A source told the publication that the 27-year-old mistakenly said ‘Auschwitz’ instead of ‘outfits’ during a conversation with housemate Cameron, resulting in his ejection on Friday.

It came after Lewis admitted that he was ‘not ashamed’ of his behaviour after being told by Big Brother that he was to be removed, adding that it was a ‘slip of the tongue.’

The source said: ‘Lewis was talking to Cameron and told him: ‘When we get out of here, we’ll sort you out with some Auschwitz’.

‘He said he was supposed to say ‘outfits’. He’s told people it was a slip of the tongue and he didn’t know why he said it.’
