Coronation Street stars and their children enjoy family night out

Newlywed Tina O’Brien has enjoyed a family night out with her ‘boys’ after returning from her honeymoon.

Coronation Street star Tina said “I do” with business development manager Adam Crofts on New Year’s Eve with their son Beau playing a big part on their special day as both a groomsman and ringbearer.

And Tina, Adam and four-year-old Beau were all smiles as they headed to see The Lego Movie 2 at the Legoland Discovery Centre at the Trafford Centre.

Tina, whose daughter Scarlett was a ‘mini maid of honour’ at their wedding at the King Street Townhouse in Manchester city centre, said on her Instagram after the trip: “Great trip with my two boys to @ldc_manchester Everything (really) is Awesome and ‘This song IS gonna get stuck inside your head.”

Coronation Street star Bev makes history in Rocky Horror Show

For Beverley is taking on the role of narrator in the cult musical The Rocky Horror Show at Manchester Opera House. And she’s making history, becoming the first woman to do so.

‘Someone sent me a photo of the front of the Opera House when they put the posters up with my name on it,’ said Beverley. ‘That’s what filled me with fear.

‘Being part of such an iconic show, that’s really intimidating but it’s also so exciting as well.’

The Rocky Horror Show, which features the classic Time Warp, tells the story of college kids Brad and Janet who break down outside the home of the bizarre Dr Frank’n’Furter. It has been delighting audiences for more than 45 years, many of whom dress up as characters in the show and heckle the cast throughout.

Coronation Street star Michael Le Vell discharged from bankruptcy

Coronation Street star Michael Le Vell has been discharged from bankruptcy, according to official records.

The actor, who has played mechanic Kevin Webster in the soap since 1983, was declared bankrupt in January last year under his birth name’Michael Robert Turner.

It means he is now able to set up a company and be a director. However, details of the bankruptcy will remain on his files for at least six years.

Le Vell first joined Coronation Street in the early 1980s and quickly endeared himself to fans, who have followed the trials and tribulations of Kevin, from Brian Tilsley’s apprentice mechanic through to his stormy marriage to Sally, played by Sally Dynevor.
