Dancing With The Lehigh Valley Stars Returns For 5th Season

For the fifth year, just like the TV hit Dancing with the Stars, we will partner up 6 Lehigh Valley “celebrities” with professional dancers from Utah Ballroom Dance Company! Your favorite local star will be dressed up in glitzy costumes performing their routines and YOU will help pick the winner with your vote the night of the show!

Dancing with the Lehigh Valley Stars is on Thursday, April 18th at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $30 ($15 for students) and proceeds will benefit the State Theatre’s FREDDY’ Awards program. Dragons Single-Game Ticket Sales to begin Thursday

DAYTON, OHIO – Single-game ticket sales for Dayton Dragons 2019 home games will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 14. The Dragons will kick-off their season with their 20th Season Celebration Game on Saturday, March 30 at 2:00 p.m. when the 2019 Dragons (Team 20) meet a team of Dragons Alumni still playing in the Cincinnati Reds organization. The Dragons 20th Opening Night game is set for Thursday, April 4 when they host the Bowling Green Hot Rods at Fifth Third Field at 7:00 p.m.’

Out and About: Original films on tap in 2 film festivals

For those who enjoy interesting and original films, two events in the Lehigh Valley this weekend highlight the creative energies of local filmmakers and give fans of film a variety of visions to view.

Student filmmakers present “Colorful Characters and Wondrous Worlds” at DeSales University’s 19th annual film festival at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Labuda Center for the Performing Arts on the Center Valley campus.

The event features world premieres of intelligent and entertaining student films written, directed, and produced by TV/film majors ranging from narrative film to music videos and everything in between. The festival showcases why the DeSales TV/film program is considered the leading film school in the Lehigh Valley.
