EastEnders actress Lorna Fitzgerald puts Abi Branning behind her with new look

Lorna Fitzgerald left EastEnders in 2018 but she’s now ditched the character for good after going for a huge change.

Highlights and further reading. Abstract from this.

Lorna played Abi Branning for 12 years, but in 2017 it was announced she’d be leaving the show, and around Christmas the devastating episode aired which saw her and Lauren climb onto the roof of The Vic to convince Max not to jump.

As Lauren reached out to her dad to pull him back inside, she slipped, and as Abi grabbed at her the two were pulled over the ledge.

Since leaving EastEnders, the 22-year-old actress has been starring in the play The Lady Vanishes, based on an Alfred Hitchcock film. She has been seen wearing a red wig for the role, but now Lorna has gone the whole hog and dyed her own locks to match the character.
