EastEnders fans accuse soap of ‘copying’ Hollyoaks as it hints Bobby Beale has been radicalised by terrorist group in prison


EASTENDERS fans have accused the soap of copying Hollyoaks after fans became convinced that Bobby Beale has been radicalised by terrorist group in prison.

But viewers are already convinced there’s something amiss with the troubled teen after he took a call from a friend called Imran and said: “Yeah, yeah, I’m doing research every day.”

Many are convinced this will be the start of a radicalisation storyline, however a spokesperson from Eastenders says that’s NOT the case – and the Bobby’s storyline won’t be about radicalisation.

But despite this, some fans are already complaining it is too similar to a current theme on Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks.

The Cheshire-based serial drama is currently exploring how the character Ste Hay has been radicalised by a white supremacy group.
