EastEnders fans could be set to see the return of demonic Dotty Cotton, the granddaughter of Dot Branning (June Brown). Molly Conlin played the sweet talking child in the show up until 2010 but Dotty turned out to be anything but angelic as she teamed up with Nick to con and even poison Dot.

She eventually learned the error of her ways at the last minute but hasn’t been seen since her departure. However, after Dot discovered that Dr Legg (Leonard Fenton) had left her a fortune in her will, Dotty was given a mention in the script.

Viewers have now started speculating that she could be on her way back to try and get the cash out of her gran once more. Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ) is a current suspect for taking advantage of Dot’s trusting nature but could Dotty make a shock return?
