DuraBrite Lighting Solutions awarded US Air Force contracts

Jersey City-based DuraBrite Lighting Solutions, a provider of high-output, high-efficient LED fixtures for commercial and industrial applications, was selected by the United States Department of the Air Force to provide its Portable Go Light product to three Air Force bases in the United States and Germany.

‘Our ultimate goal was always to sell this to government, law enforcement, and the military,’ DuraBrite Lighting Solutions President Michael Morris told NJBIZ. He said the patents and the core technology set them apart from the competition, in addition to the fact that the product can deliver a lot of light, which we call lumens and LED, for very little energy use. ‘When you compare that with a battery, it puts us in a playing field all by ourselves.’
