PDQ opened its 16th Tampa Bay location this week with a fundraiser for the Bullard Family Foundation. The newest location near the University of South Florida in Temple Terrace at 5112 E. Fowler Ave.

The newest location near the University of South Florida in Temple Terrace at 5112 E. Fowler Ave. will feature all the PDQ classics like the award-winning hand-breaded chicken tenders, signature sauces, hand-crafted sandwiches, made-to-order fresh salads, and hand-spun milkshakes.

PDQ USF/Temple Terrace is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. for lunch and dinner for dine-in or take-out, as well as drive-thru and catering.

Other locations are in Brandon, Bradenton, Carrollwood, Clearwater, Lakeland, Pinellas Park, Riverview, St. Petersburg, Sarasota, Seminole, South Tampa, Tampa: Waters, Trinity, Wesley Chapel and Westchase.

Tampa Bay-based chain PDQ opened it’s 16th Bay Area location, today, in Temple Terrace at 5112 E. Fowler Ave., a couple blocks away from University of South Florida, with their award-winning chicken tenders, sauces and more. Today’s festivities include scratch-off tickets with prizes, appearances by local musicians, WWE wrestler Titus O’Neil, and USF’s Rocky the Bull and cheerleading squad.

PDQ partnered with the Bullard Family Foundation to give back to families affected by COVID-19, but you can help out by visiting any PDQ location until 9 p.m. If you round up your check to the nearest dollar, 100% of the proceeds go to those in need.

PDQ and Bullard Family Foundation Partner to Give Back

Award-winning PDQ restaurants (People Dedicated to Quality) and the Bullard Family Foundation are teaming up to give back during the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Monday, September 14 from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m., guests to any of PDQ’s 16 Tampa Bay area locations can round up their check or make a donation, with 100 percent of all money raised given directly to the Bullard Family Foundation.

PDQ will also host a Grand Opening celebration on Monday, September 14 -social distancing style – at its newest location in the USF/Temple Terrace area at 5112 E. Fowler Ave. All guests who visit the USF/Temple Terrace location from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. that day will receive a scratch-off card for a free menu item on their next visit. There will also be drive-thru entertainment from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m., including performances from local musician Josh Higgins and the USF Herd of Thunder Pep Band.

List: Tampa Bay restaurants offering delivery, deals on orders during coronavirus outbreak

TAMPA (WFLA) – On Tuesday in South Tampa, a crowd of several dozen protestors blocked Howard Avenue.

Witnesses say the protestors blocked cars and screamed at drivers for more than twenty minutes, one driver even going as far as calling 9-1-1 to ask for help.

The resolution requires people to wear masks inside businesses when social distancing isn’t possible, but about three weeks ago, commissioners voted to amend part of the resolution that included places of worship.
