$450m Merrill team launches Dynasty-backed RIA

Craig Robson (pictured center), a former Merrill Lynch broker who had been overseeing $450 million, has launched his own independent RIA on Dynasty’s platform, the firm said on Monday.

Robson, who is based in Atlanta, has elected to name his new independent firm Regent Peak Wealth Advisors and has brought over two advisors, including chief financial officer Kevin Manning and CIO Nathan Hoyt,’and two support staff’from the wirehouse. He started in the advisory business in 1992 and had been at Merrill since 1994, according to his BrokerCheck profile.

‘As I look back on my 25 years, I just wish I had done this so much earlier. We’re looking forward to having fun again. It’s an exciting new chapter for our entire team and our families. We are going to enjoy and take full advantage of the greater options and flexibility available to us in the independent space,’ said Robson.
