The Lakers (15-5, 11-1 WMD) split a doubleheader with league foe Mason County Eastern, losing the first game and getting pushed to the ropes.

Bear Lake was only two outs away from glory in the bottom of the sixth inning of game one, but they let the opportunity slip through their fingers. The Lakers were up three runs when the Sabres rattled off a couple of clutch hits and a bloop single that pushed in the winning run, giving Mason County Eastern the win, 11-10.
