USF women open AAC play with win over Cincinnati

TAMPA – Cincinnati stole a one-point win over USF in Tampa nearly a year ago. Cincinnati went onto play in the quarterfinals of the WNIT and proved to be one of the American Athletic Conference’s best squads in the process.

In the first meeting between the Bulls and Bearcats, the hosts got revenge over last year’s narrow loss with a’76-68’win in front of an announced crowd of’2,204 at the Yuengling Center on Sunday afternoon in the annual Salute to Service game.

USF Women’s Basketball Announces 2019-20 American Athletic Conference Schedule

USF, in conjunction with the American Athletic Conference, officially released their 16-game conference schedule on Thursday afternoon.

The Bulls will open conference by hosting Cincinnati at the Yuengling Center on Jan. 5 and will close the slate with one final regular season league showdown at UConn on Mar. 2.

Memphis vs. USF Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 11-23-2019

The No.18-ranked Memphis Tigers will travel to Raymond James Stadium on Saturday afternoon as they prepare for an American Athletic Conference showdown against the South Florida Bulls.

The Tigers dominated Houston 45-27 on the road last week for their fourth straight win thanks to another big day from quarterback Brady White. Trailing 17-7 after the first quarter, Memphis stormed back behind White, who threw for 341 yards with five touchdowns and only one interception on the day. Kenneth Gainwell had 99 rushing yards while Damonte Coxwell caught four balls for 93 yards and two touchdowns for the Tigers, who outgained Houston 531 to 256 in total offense in the win. The Tigers’ defense also stepped up, allowing only 113 yards of total offense over the final three quarters to help Memphis keep pace in the AAC standings.
